My present research interests focuses in the study of biodiversity, ecology and conservation of Caryophyllaceae from Iberian Peninsula mountains. Some research interests include conservation biogeography, conservation biology, endemism and historical biogeography, and recently, spatial predictive modelling of rare plant species.

My PhD project is entitled "Geographical patterns and environmental correlations of morphological and genetic variation in endemic Caryophyllaceae of Western Iberian Peninsula"
