DOCUMENTARY SERIES “AS NOVAS VIAGENS PHILOSOPHICAS” TO BE DISTRIBUTED WITH “PÚBLICO”

Between 2011 and 2015, CIBIO-InBIO has been involved in the production of “AS NOVAS VIAGENS PHILOSOPHICAS”, a documentary series on biodiversity research which will come with the November 24th's issue of “Público” newspaper.

This project, the first of its kind ever made in Portugal, is composed by 13 episodes encompassing some of the most exquisite examples of biodiversity research projects carried out by CIBIO-InBIO researchers, around the world. The documentary series was first broadcasted by RTP in 2016, and again in 2018.

This remarkable documentary series stems from a partnership between RTP, CIBIO-InBIO and the University of Porto, and was made possible with the support of the National Agency for Scientific and Technological Culture - Ciência Viva.

CIBIO-InBIO documentary series is also a tribute to Paulo Alexandrino, whose legacy will forever continue to inspire us, sparking our curiosity and enthusiasm about biodiversity and biodiversity research.
