This book is the outcome of the FCT funded project "Estrutura Verde Urbana: Estudo da relação entre a morfologia do espaço público”, which began in 2009. The team of researchers and consultants is coordinated by Professor Paulo Farinha Marques (CIBIO-InBIO) and includes a multidisciplinary team of landscape architects, ecologists specialized both in fauna and flora, urbanists and mathematicians.
