My name is Telma Nunes, I have a degree in Biology and I am finishing my master's degree in functional biology and plant biotechnology at the Faculty of Science of the University of Porto. So far, I have studied the effects of microalgae and cyanobacteria collected from portuguese soils on plants so that they can be used as substitutes for the chemicals used today in agriculture. From now on, I will join the PlantN laboratory and find out more about nitrogen-fixing bacteria and their relationship with plants.
