I completed my PhD from the University of Glasgow in Cultural Neuropsychology where I studied the influence of culture on object and scene perception. After completing my degree, I began working with a research group called, Gendered Journeys, investigating the experiences of Indian and Rwandan women entering STEM for higher education through to employment. My interests lie in understanding and improving scientific research/practices to be more inclusive and conscious. Currently, I am working on mapping the geographic spread of knowledge production within conservation and biodiversity research through the Portuguese colonial lens.
