I have a Master Degree in Biodiversity and Biotechnology by the University of the Azores (2020). I am also a member of CIBIO - Research Center in Biodiversity and Genetic Resources - InBIO Associate Laboratory.
From 2019 – 2021, I have worked in the MacFlor projects as a research fellow (Macflor: Azorina S.A. Nº 33/Azorina/2017; and MacFlor 2: MAC2/4.6d/386). Currently, I am a PhD student in Biology at the University of the Azores, with the thesis project " A holistic approach to the conservation of the coastal Azorean endemic taxa Lotus azoricus and Azorina vidalii: Reproductive biology, population genetics and ecology".
My main research focuses on the conservation of endangered endemic plant species of the Azores, using molecular approaches and through the study of the reproductive biology of the species.
