Rúben Luz

Rúben Luz holds a BSc in Biological Sciences and Health and completed his Master's degree in Biomedical Sciences in 2018 by University of Azores, with a master thesis entitled ¿Biological activity screening of isolated freshwater and thermal water cyanobacteria from the Azores¿. Was part of the REBECA project (INTERREG-MAC) that created BACA (Bank of Algae and Cyanobacteria of the Azores) with a research fellow and has collaborated actively with the REBECA-CCT (INTERREG-MAC), 3B-Vent and Microalgae-IT projects. Has participated in international congresses with several first author oral communications and posters. His research topics are focused on cyanobacteria taxonomy and bioactivity search.
