My name is Pedro and I´m a 24-year-old researcher in behavioural ecology. I have a Bachelor´s degree in Biology obtained in 2020 at the Faculty of Sciences of the University of Porto, and a Master´s degree in Biodiversity, Genetics and Evolution obtained in 2022 at CIBIO-InBIO / University of Porto. During my master´s I studied behavioural lateralization in the common waxbill, as well as its connections with other behavioural and morphological traits. I´m currently starting my PhD, where I´ll be focusing on bioacoustics and noise pollution, specifically how these factors might influence social behaviour in common waxbills.
