I graduated in Biology at the Faculty of Science of the University of Porto in 2020, and completed my MSc in Biodiversity, Genetics and Evolution at CIBIO-UP in 2022.
During my BSc internship at CIBIO, I’ve worked with behavioural flexibility and adaptation of birds to environmental change in Northwestern Iberia.
On my MSc thesis, I focused on understanding variation in vigilance behavior in the sociable weaver (Philetairus socius). During my PhD, using the same study species I'll focus on whether individual propensity to cooperate is repeatable in time and across different contexts.
My main reasearch interests are behavioral ecology, sociality, animal communication and wildlife conservation.
