Maria Eduarda Vieira

I am a master's student who is currently analyzing data from tagged bigeye tuna. My research focuses on estimating their thermoregulation parameters using heat-exchange models, particularly under sharp oxygen and temperature gradients. In 2022, I finished my BSc in Biology at the University of Porto, and at the final year, I contributed on a blue shark research project, where I was in charge of identifying capture events from camera images obtained from multi-sensor tags. I am passionate about fish behavior and ecology and I am excited to continue my research.
