I graduated in Biology at the Faculty of Sciences, University of Porto, in 2022. After that, I enrolled in the MSc program in Ecology and Environment at the same institution.
My passion and dream of working with felids and their conservation led me to seek opportunities in this field, which eventually led me to my MSc project. I am currently developing my thesis focusing on two African cat species: the caracal and the serval. I will analyse their diet in Bicuar National Park, Southern Angola, to enhance our understanding of this subject. Additionally, I will investigate whether the diet of these mesocarnivores, which do not rely on species under human pressure, has been affected by the biodiversity-depauperated landscape in this region. This will be done by comparing the findings with studies from other regions and between the two species.
