With a bachelor’s degree in Biology (Universidade do Porto, Portugal) and a master’s degree in Management and Conservation of Natural Resources (Instituto Superior de Agronomia/ Universidade de Évora, Portugal) I am equipped to peruse my scientific interests. During my dissertation I had the opportunity to focus my study on the assessment of human disturbance in Iberian wolf breeding sites, hinged on camera trapping data. The latter allowed me to deepen my knowledge, not only in wildlife monitoring techniques, but also in statistical and modelling methodologies.  I am deeply motivated by natural conservation and management, having special interest in the ecology of wildlife and their conservation, namely in mammals and avifauna. Currently, I fulfil the role of Research Technician at CIBIO-InBIO, Research Center in Biodiversity and Genetic Resources (University of Porto, Portugal), executing field prospections in the context of monitoring programs of the Iberian Wolf Populations in Portugal.
