Fabien Duez

Fabien is doing a PhD under the framework of the "Biopolis” Teaming project with University of Montpellier (Call docs and postdocs). His research project is about plant sexual systems and climate change, and focuses on Silene acaulis (moss campion), an alpine plant exhibiting polymorphic sexual systems (dioecy, trioecy, gynodioecy), and also considered a bioindicator of global warming. This project is a collaboration between ISEM, ETH Zurich and CIBIO with Jos Käfer as main supervisor, and Alex Widmer and Gabriel Marais as co-supervisors. Fabien is mainly based in Montpellier with planned visits to Zurich and Porto.
