I am a marine scientist who's intrigued by the biodiversity and ecology of rocky coastal communities. After graduating as a master on Marine Biology and Conservation, I started working at IMAR (Azores), mainly as a video-analyst of unexplored deep sensitive rocky biocoenoses - to characterise and map them for the management of MPAs. Currently, my job at CIBIO is taking me to the European Atlantic intertidal to visit historical points surveyed by the French researcher Fischer-Piette on his biogeographic and bionomic surveys.
