BIODIV DOCTORAL PROGRAMME 2018/19 - 2nd PHASE

The Doctoral Programme in Biodiversity, Genetics and Evolution (BIODIV) is organized by the two largest Portuguese universities, the University of Porto and the University of Lisbon, and is funded by FCT – Portuguese Foundation for Science and Technology.

BIODIV aims to create a new generation of researchers in the areas of biodiversity, evolutionary biology and genetics, providing excellent teaching and research and a multicultural learning environment. It is a 4years programme structured upon a highly flexible system that enables students to design their own curricular profile, by choosing from a diversity of seminars and advanced courses.
