I have always dreamed of becoming a biologist and working with issues related to the conservation of species, so in 2015 I graduated in Biology from the Faculty of Sciences of the University of Porto.
I am currently enrolled in the Masters degree in Biodiversity, Genetic s and Evolution from CIBIO/University of Porto. Right now, I am doing my master thesis. This consist in assessing how alteration in ecosystem functions and ecosystem dynamics driven by deforestation in the Ankaratra Massif (Madagascar) may affect 1) the amphibian diversity and distribution 2) presence/absence patterns of Bd in Ankaratra. To achieve this we will ally remote sensing and in-field data collection and combine this with the results of the Bd screening.
