CIBIO-InBIO laboratories provide a large variety of analysis services to the community based on the application of genetic and molecular tools. The services make use of a state-of-the-art Next Generation DNA-Sequencing Platform, allowing for a full package from sample/library preparation, a vast selection of sequencing techniques/approaches (including metagenomics), and bioinformatics.
The involvement of CIBIO-InBIO in GenomePortugal Research Infrastructure (GenomePT), a national consortium of nearly all laboratories with NGS capacity, further strengthens its capacity to provide services at national and international levels.
