Ana Isabel Magalhães Tavares

I graduated in Biology at the Faculty of Sciences of the University of Porto in 2013.

Currently, I am on the Master’s degree in Biological Aquatic Resources. My areas of interest are marine biodiversity and the study of marine invertebrates. I am developing my thesis on the study of the genetic structure of the majid spider-crab specie Acanthonyx lunulatus (Risso, 1816) along its whole northern hemisphere distributional range: the Mediterranean, Atlantic and the Macaronesia, under the supervision of Dr. António Múrias dos Santos.
