I'm a Conservation Biology MSc student at the University of Lisbon, with a previous BSc in Biology. I am currently working on my master's thesis concerning biodiversity conservation while enhancing food security through the study of small mammal diversity in agricultural landscapes in Guinea-Bissau, under the supervision of Ana Filipa Palmeirim (CIBIO) and Ana Rainho (FCUL). My thesis is integrated in the "Eco Pest Supression" Project, within the Tropical and Mediterranean Biodiversity Research Group (TMB) of cE3c. Growing up surrounded by nature, I’ve always felt mesmerized by how the world works around me, pushing me to pursue my passion for science. My main interest are ecology and conservation of small mammal species, human-wildlife interactions, environmental awareness and social issues in biodiversity conservation.
