Andreia Silva

My educational background is anchored in a Bachelor's Degree in Applied Biology with a specialization in Terrestrial Resources, obtained from Faculdade de Ciências da Universidade de Lisboa. During my studies, I completed a curricular internship on the energetic importance of nocturnal feeding in wintering shorebirds in the Tagus Estuary. In 2010, I completed a Master's Degree in Biodiversity and Genetic Resources from CIBIO/Faculdade de Ciências da Universidade do Porto, with my master's thesis focusing on the phylogeographic analysis of reptile species in the Seychelles Islands.

My professional journey includes 11 years as an Assistant Project Manager at EVOA – Espaço de Visitação e Observação de Aves, located in the Tagus Estuary Natural Reserve. In addition to handling operational daily tasks such as managing events, schedules, budgets, and multidisciplinary teams to ensure a seamless visitor experience, I actively contributed to several projects by participating in their design, submission, and subsequent management, financed by public funds.
