I am a Master of Veterinary Medicine by Instituto de Ciências Biomédicas Abel Salazar of the University of Porto. My master thesis is entitled "SCHISTOSOMÍASIS: O papel de ruminantes domésticos como reservatórios de espécies de Schistosoma no distrito de Chókwè, Moçambique". In 2020, I obtained a research grant for a PhD at the Faculty of Veterinary Medicine of the University of Lisbon within the scope of an European project on African swine fever. Currently, I am a PhD student at Instituto de Ciências Biomédicas Abel Salazar. Our project aims to study the ecology of zoonotic viruses in rodents and insectivores of continental Portugal.
