I am a Doctor of Veterinary Medicine with a master's degree in Biodiversity and Environmental Management and a Ph.D in Virology.
I have mostly studied infectious agents of birds and mammals from a 'One Health' and evolutionary perspective.
I am now focussing on bird eukaryotic parasite communities in a context of anthropogenic habitat degradation.
