I am interested in evolution and population genetics. Specially, I am interested in hybridization and its role in shaping the evolutionary trajectory of species; in describing and understanding population dynamics, specially by associating genetic patterns with ecological and behavior data; and in the phylogenetic and demographic history of species and populations.

My work has focus mainly on the genetic analysis of the Iberian wolf population, and more recently on the entire Eurasian population of grey wolf.
