My main interests are evolutionary biology, mainly with concern to phylogeography, phylogenetics and biogeography of reptiles. Moreover, I can integrate ecological, morphological and behaviour issues.
Currently, I have just finished working in my MSc thesis project entitled by “Genetic lineage or distinct species? Testing taxonomy in North African geckos”, under the supervision of D.James Harris and Daniele Salvi. The main focus of the study was to clarify the taxonomy and the level of genetic diversity found within a gecko cryptic species, Ptyodactylus oudrii, in the North of Africa.
