I completed my master in Biodiversity, Genetics and Evolution at Faculty of Sciences from University of Porto in 2016. After that, I have worked in CIBIO-InBIO as a research technician in MEDBIODIV project (MEDBIODIV: Linking phenotypes to diversification dynamics to decipher the temporal and spatial scaling of biodiversity evolution in the Mediterranean Basin. PI: Antigoni Kaliontzopoulou) and a lab technician in AGRIVOLE project (AGRIVOLE: The role of voles in agroecosystems: Linking pest management to biodiversity conservation under environmental change. PI: Joana Paupério).

Currently, I’m a PhD student at CIBIO-InBIO with a project that aims to investigate the eco-evolutionary consequences of anthropogenic landscape and climate change in three heterogeneous hybrid zones among Iberian vipers, by using a combination of genetic, morphological and eco-physiological analyses and predictive mechanistic modelling.
