I have graduated in Biology at the Faculty of Sciences from the University of Lisbon in 2013 and I have just completed my master degree in Biodiversity, Genetics and Evolution at the University of Porto. My research interests are in evolutionary biology particularly in population genetics, phylogeography and biogeography of reptiles and amphibians.
Currently, I am still working on my master thesis project which aimed to apply an integrative approach that combines genetic, morphological and ecological analyses to study the intraspecific variability of the Western Mediterranean viper, Vipera latastei, and to clarify its taxonomy.
