The Geography and Planning group is the natural result of the integration of the former CIGPT (Geographic Information and Spatial Planning Center) in CIBIO-InBIO. This group is a multidisciplinary unit, dedicated to research and community services mostly oriented to the fields of geographical information, land management, environmental planning and spatial planning.

Main objectives: To promote scientific research; to provide services to the community and Public Administration; to conduct seminars, conferences, and training, among other actions of science and public awareness.
