I completed a BSc in Terrestrial Environmental Biology (2007) and a MSc in Conservation Biology (2009) at the University of Lisbon (FCUL, Portugal). I then spent 2011 working as a researcher at the NERC Biomolecular Analysis Facility in Sheffield where I developed skills in molecular ecology. Currently, I’m a research technician of the CONGEN group at CIBIO. Here, I have obtained a wealth of experience in non-invasive genotyping and sequencing methods.
My research interests are mainly focused in conservation genetics and biodiversity assessment.
