I am a veterinary surgeon since 2016, member of the Royal College of Veterinary Surgeons in the UK, with a Diploma in Conservation Biology. I have a post degree in Exotic Animals Medicine and Surgery and I completed 3 soft tissue surgery courses in India, Spain and Portugal over the last couple of years. I also have several wildlife courses completed in Portugal, Zimbabwe and South Africa since 2012. I did my final year internship as a vet student working for 6months with wildlife medicine and conservation in South Africa. Before I started the PhD, I was working as a veterinary surgeon in Portugal and in the UK.
My special interest relies on southern African species, particularly involving conservation and epidemiology.
