My networks

Currently I am involved in a number of projects on the population genetics of species the genetic basis of adaptation. My main interest is in life history evolution. At the moment much of my research is focused on clupeoids such as shad and sardines, but I also work with other systems including species of tilapia, lizards and birds. These days I spend a lot of time conducting various bioinformatics tasks like genome assembly, population genomic analysis and searching for loci under natural selection. I have also started using modeling and genomic data to study how ecological cycles and instability influence adaptive evolution and genome architecture.
