With a strong background in Marine Biology, Conservation Ecology and Aquatic Bio-Ressources, I joined the MarChange research group in late 2020. Here, I mainly focus on studying the movement patterns and behaviour of commercially valuable marine species (namely pelagic top predators such as tunas and sharks), by using satellite tracking tools and environmental modelling. Within a context of climate change and high fishing pressure, I aim to understand the influence of an heterogenous environment over animal populations in order to identify the location of species' critical habitats for key life-stages (such as foraging or pupping grounds), and to conceive better adapted management tools for conservation purposes.
