My research lines include:
- How human activities affect vertebrates, including road-kills, mortality in power lines or forest management, which ultimately could lead to population fragmentation. Currently I am studying the effect of railway infrastructures on vertebrates.
- The ecology of peripheral populations, from colonization patterns based on genetics to habitat selection or parasite load in different kinds of populations.
- The role of habitat fragmentation in the behaviour and the life history of forest birds like tits.
