As a landscape architect I have integrated several projects in interdisciplinary collaboration, among which I highlight the "The heritage and landscape itineraries in the North of Portugal" - in a partnership between Centro Nacional de Cultura and Unesco (2012) -, and "Serralves 360º : Landscape & Biodiversity", focusing on the promotion of scientific literacy - in a partnership between Serralves Foundation and CIBIO (2012-2014).
As a Phd student (2014), i'm interested in a critical approach of landscape, linking science and philosophy, facts and values, capable of a deep understanding of our reality and ourselves.
A landscape is a manifesto, a statement of principles and intentions, a structure of thought and action.
A landscape is a continuum, between the autonomy of nature and it´s sociocultural construction, understood from a critical matrix connecting perception, materiality, and representation.
A landscape is a drawing, where we project ourselves in the human web, sketching and allowing, rehearsing the real and its possibilities, in a constant learning of life as a process.
