Natália Dias

Dr. Natália Dias is the Executive Coordinator of CIBIO-InBIO. Previously she was Director of Education in the MIT Portugal international partnership. She holds a PhD degree in Marine Sciences and post-doctoral experience in climate change impacts (University of East Anglia, UK) and evolutionary ecology (University of Valencia, Spain). She is experienced in science and education management, outreach and communication, and stakeholder engagement.

Main responsibilities: managing the overall administrative and scientific activities; assisting strategic planning and delivery; liaison with funding bodies, businesses, universities, government, regional governing bodies, and the EU; writing national and international protocols; searching new funding opportunities; coordinating and supporting the preparation and submission of major applications of the Centre; writing summary and evaluative reports; managing recruitment of senior researchers and administrative staff; supervising and supporting communication (within and beyond the Centre) and management of postgraduate programs.
