Luz Paramio holds in 2003 a Degree in Marine Sciences from University of Las Palmas in Spain and in 2006 a Msc in Costal and Marine Management from University of Cadiz, also in Spain. Luz has worked as junior researcher for more of 9 years in Environmental Planning and Management, with a particular focus in management Water Resources and Modelling Scenarios.
She has participated in several research and technical projects as: Watershed Plans, Environmental Reports and she accompanied designation process of 11 Azores Ramsar Sites , and other Protected Areas, as The Azores Marine Park . She is currently a PhD candidate in Geography, with a thesis project in Ocean Governance, at the University of Azores.
