After my Bachelor’s in Philosophy, I obtained my MSc degree in Evolution of animal and human Behaviour from the University of Turin (Italy). My main interests concern bio- and ecoacoustics and conservation. I first approached these disciplines during my Master’s thesis, for which I compared the performance of two audio recorders, Audiomoth and Song Meter 4, in recording the vocalizations of Indri indri, a highly endangered lemur species in Madagascar. After my graduation, I worked using bioacoustics applied to bats conservation, mainly assessing the impact of wind farms and other infrastructures on the chiropterofauna in Greece.

Through my PhD project, I want to indagate, through a multidisciplinary approach, the radiation of mantellid frogs of Madagascar. My purpose is to test the contribution of chemical and acoustic communication to the exceptional diversification of Mantellidae.
