In 2013, Luís Seabra graduated in Archaeology at University of Porto and completed in 2015 a Master at University of Minho, where the main focus was Archaeobotany. Since then, Archaeobotany and particularly Carpology (fruits/seeds) has been your field of research.
Actually is a PhD student in the Doctoral programme in Biodiversity, Genetics and Evolution (BIODIV) and their work will be focused in various archaeological sites from the Douro valley, with the application of archaebotanical analysis. Questions like agricultural practices, storage strategies, crop processing, environmental data and their relation with past communities are some of their major lines of investigation.
