Luana Ramos

I graduated in Biology at the Faculty of Sciences of University of Porto and then I attended the Biodiversity, Genetics and Evolution master course in CIBIO, during which I developed a particular interest in conservation genetics. I am currently developing my master thesis focused on detection of hybridization between the European wildcat and the domestic cat in Iberian Peninsula through the use of molecular markers in both invasive and non invasive sampling, and its impact on the conservation of this endangered wild cat.
