Research interests:
My main research interests are about of pollen biodiversity of the phanerogams species, at the biology and ecology of Insects, especially the group Apoidea (Hymenoptera) and I'm particularly interested in diversity of plant-insect interactions. Other areas of research interest include palynology, agroecology, animal behavior, beekeeping and meliponiculture.
My main research at the moment is develop a catalog of pollen grains from plant of the Azores, for future reference in works related to trophic resource used by consumers of pollen and animal research taxonomy.
