Kiat Ng

Kiat Ng is a PhD candidate at the Department of Biology/Geography Section at University of the Azores-CIBIO in Portugal. She holds a Bachelor degree in Civil Engineering from McGill University in Canada and a M.Sc in Environmental Engineering from Stanford University in USA. Since graduation, she has worked as an environmental consultant in water resources and regulatory support projects in California. Her current research interests include coastal zone management, coastal hazards and mitigation measures, climate change impacts and implications, marine spatial planning, and coastal and marine protected areas for the Azores.
