Francisco Salgueirinho Moreira is a Portuguese biologist. He holds a First Degree in Biology and a Master's degree in Ecology and Environment, both from the Faculty of Sciences of the University of Porto.
In his academic activity, he participated in research projects based on citizen science to contribute to the study, management, and conservation of two species of shorebirds. His research interests are Ecology and Environment, especially ornithology, biodiversity, wildlife management, and environmental and urban management. Birds, citizen science, environmental education, and sustainable management are interesting topics for him. Furthermore, most environmental issues and their challenges are subjects he likes to work on.
