THE BOOK BIODIVERSIDADE DE ANGOLA IS NOW AVAILABLE FOR DOWNLOAD

On May 21, 2019, CIBIO-InBIO, in collaboration with the Government of Angola and the Kissama Foundation, co-organized the launching session of the book Biodiversidade de Angola.

The book, now available for free download, contains 20 chapters which covers the state of art and highlights future needs on the study of the huge biodiversity found in Angola. This is an important output of the UNESCO Chair Life on Land, coordinated by CIBIO-InBIO, and marks another step in the scientific collaboration between Angola and Portugal.

Biodiversidade de Angola has as editors Brian Huntley and Nuno Ferrand, CIBIO-InBIO, Vladimir Russo, Kissama Foundation, and Fernanda Lages, ISCED-Huila. The book has also a preface signed by the President of Angola, João Manuel Gonçalves Lourenço, and the contribution of more than 40 authors from 10 countries.
