"UM LIVRO SOBRE EVOLUÇÃO" ANSWERS TO THE MOST MISCONCEPTIONS ON THE TOPIC

"How is it possible not to accept Evolution?", "why did the insects reduced their size?", "Did all the living beings evolved?", "Do we descend from chimpazees?", "Is the Man subject  to the laws of Evolution?"

These were some of the questions made by portuguese and Mexican  students and that are now gathered in the book  "Um livro sobre evolução".

The book resulted from a contest where students were challenged to think not only in questions but also in their answers. Those answers were complemented with texts written by 18 biologists working on Evolution. The book also includes a list of the most common misconcetions about Evolution and its corrections, and a glossary.

The book is freely available online in PDF format. Those who whish to acquire a printed copy (7 €), can do it in Museu da Ciência da Universidade de Coimbra (soon available in the virtual store).
