"DARKNESS CREATURES" ON THE LOOSE IN PUBLIC GARDENS

Taking advantage of the Halloween festivities, scientists in several cities of Portugal debunked misconceptions about amphibians and nocturnal animals, by engaging the public in a set of activities that took place during night time. The researchers organized guided visits to public gardens and there talked about the fauna that is mostly active in the dark.

Jael Palhas, science communicator from CIBIO-InBIO and promoter of this initiative, gave an interview for Público newspaper.
