PARTICIPATION OF A CIBIO-InBIO RESEARCHER IN ALICAÇA

Alicaça is a national hunting event that took place on the weekend of April 18 and 19 in the Municipality of Alijó. In addition to several hunting-related field activities, the event included a conference focused on the topic “Hunting – Past, Present and Future of the Region”, in which Paulo Célio Alves, from the CONGEN group, gave a lecture, entitled “Problemática da doença hemorrágica viral no coelho bravo – Programa SOS CIBIO-InBIO – Impacto no sector” (Problematic of viral hemorrhagic disease in wild rabbits - SOS CIBIO-InBIO Program - Impact on the sector). In it, the researcher talked about the impact of viral haemorrhagic disease (VHD) in the hunting sector, highlighting the relevance of the project SOS Coelho (SOS Rabbit).
