NUNO MONTEIRO’S PHD THESIS IN THE SPOTLIGHT AT RTP2

The TV show, dedicated to disseminating PhD thesis developed in Portugal and by Portuguese researchers working abroad, highlighted the research lines of Nuno’s work developed at the Behavioural Ecology group at CIBIO-InBIO. In its first episode, broadcasted on January 8, 2016, the researcher talked about his academic pathway and his main research interests throughout his scientific career.
Nuno’s research work focus on sexual selection and reproductive systems’ evolution, namely in relation to the impact of global warming effects. His current work focuses on genomics, morphological and behavioral characterization of animal species affected by geographical alterations due to global warming, raising awareness about the consequences of this phenomenon on sexual selection.
