FRANCISCO MOREIRA RE-ELECTED AS BOARD MEMBER OF THE SOCIETY FOR CONSERVATION BIOLOGY

The Society for Conservation Biology – European Section, a global community of conservation professionals, has recently promoted an election process to name its Board Members for the upcoming three years.
The six new designated members from various European nationalities started their three year terms on January 1, 2017. CIBIO-InBIO researcher Francisco Moreira has been reelected to take on the role of director of this new panel, which is the youngest and most diverse board of SCB Europe since its constitution.

The European Section now looks forward for the outcomes of the work of this Board, congratulating the performance of both nominees and voters and calling for the involvement of all the participants on future activities developed by SCB.
