CIBIO-INBIO PARTICIPATES IN THE CONNECT 2 SOCOTRA CAMPAIGN

From October to December 2019 several institutions around the world join the campaign designed by the UNESCO Office for the Gulf Countries Council & Yemen and Friends of Socotra to raise awareness on the rich and distinct natural and cultural heritage of Socotra.

Major museums, botanical gardens, academic institutes and other organizations, will promote a series of events including natural history/photography exhibitions, public talks and lectures, workshops and film screenings. The purpose of the campaign is to connect the world to Socotra, and Socotra to the world on large issues such as climate change and extinction risks.

As part of the campaign events, on November 29th, 2019 at 15h30, CIBIO-InBIO Movie Session will feature the film Socotra, La Isla de los Genios by Jordi Esteva.
