CIBIO-InBIO PARTICIPATES IN A NATIONAL CENTER FOR GAME MANAGEMENT

A new Capacity Center was created by the Government to develop "intervention strategies and priority actions directed to game species" in partnership with different Portuguese institutions, Hunting Federations and research centers.

According to Portuguese Ministry of Agriculture, Forestry and Rural Development "this Center aggregates the main agents that are active in the sector". It will have among its objectives the generation of knowledge on game species biology and support scientific studies for species management and conservation.
