SPECIFY 6 WORKSHOP

From the 3rd to the 5th of June 2013, the Natural History Museum of the University of Porto will be hosting a Specify 6 Workshop.

Target audience
This workshop is intended for anyone working with biological collections databases and biodiversity data, and does not require expertise in using Specify.

Requirements
- Familiarity with biological collections management
- Basic informatics skills
- Good understanding of English (the workshop will be given in English)

Registration
Registration for the workshop is free, but mandatory. Attendance is limited to 16 participants, and therefore, all valid registrations will be subjected to a selection process. To register, please send an e-mail to hveloso@reit.up.pt, with a brief CV and a motivation letter highlighting the reasons why this workshop is of interest to you. Aiming to foster the effectiveness of the workshop, the organizing committee will seek to ensure participation of one attendee per institution.
- Each participant will receive a participation certificate.
- The deadline for registration is the 25th of June 2013.
