PlantUP Meeting

The PlantUP meeting takes place on the 16th of September 2014 at the CIBIO-InBIO facilities at the Campus Agrário de Vairão, Porto, Portugal. The main objective is to promote a first meeting of plant science researchers from the University of Porto, and an Info-day to provide information to these researchers on the Next-Generation Sequencing (NGS) platform existing at CIBIO-InBIO. More specifically, the meeting intends to promote an informal gathering of researchers from the University of Porto, who have in common a research interest in Plant Sciences.

More than 80 researchers are expected to attend the meeting, covering the fields of Plant Molecular and Functional Biology, Plant Physiology, Agronomy, Botany, Plant Ecology, Landscape Architecture, Chemistry of Plant Natural Products, and Food Science.
